How to Get a Miracle - People Get Ready
1. Every time God intervenes in the Earth, be it big or small, it is a miracle.
2. God only moves when someone has faith that He is who He says He is and can do anything.
3. Faith is the currency of heaven because it is the only thing that causes God to move. We often plead with Him to give us a miracle. He doesn’t respond to our need He responds to our faith.
4. “Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well.” Matt 9:22 (and Matt 9:29). The faith you need for a miracle can come from you or from the Body of Christ. Some members of the Body of Christ have been specifically gifted with healing, forgiveness of sins and miracles; others have learned to operate in these gifts by growing their faith.
5. God also gave us what may seem like a contradictory allegory about faith. He explained to His disciples their failure to perform certain miracles by saying, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matt 17:20 (and several others)
6. One would deduct from this verse that having any faith is enough for any sized miracle. So what did He mean when He said your faith is not “big enough”?
7. To anyone who was following Christ and was observant, this would be a huge contradiction and certainly a stumbling block for the purely logical. Through the eyes of faith, however, the answer is clearer. We are born into the Adamic nature and the dominant manifestation of the flesh is unbelief. We are born with generational areas of faith and grace and into others areas of life with unbelief and no grace. For example, some families can successfully manage a business and money but they are not able to do relationships, or vice versa.
8. “Little” in this context could mean that in some areas these disciples had faith, but in other areas, they didn’t have faith. The Children of Israel went into the desert and were tested through various situations to expose the areas in which they were not in faith. Otherwise, why the different tests - the wilderness, Jericho and the 7 Nations? God wanted them to surrender these areas of unbelief to Him. Israel had some faith in some areas but in many areas they did not have faith. They were ‘little in faith’.
9. If you cannot get a miracle, it is only for one reason – no faith. Commonly, we blame God. But His timing is perfect and His ways are not our ways. It is not He who is withholding the miracle - it is almost always us with insufficient faith, except possibly for the lack of spiritual warfare.
10. Developing faith is a foundational skill of every child of God because without faith we cannot please Him.
Four Practical Steps to Receiving a Miracle
11. Prayer and faith are intangible. It is not easy to know who has faith and who does not; therefore, if you need a miracle, you should ask for prayer from as many people as possible, but especially from people who focus their ministry on healing and miracles. You don’t know who has the faith that your miracle needs!
12. Continue to pray for healing because prayer and the pursuit of faith will change you. It will hopefully build your faith in the areas in which you need it, and expose any areas of unbelief.
13. Hearing God by His rhema word to you is among the most powerful ways to overcome unbelief and build your faith. The logos word, which is reading and confessing Scripture out loud, will also build your intention to be healed by faith and change the spiritual atmosphere in which you live.
14. The Body of Christ is ONE. Your need is everyone’s need and prayers which are in ONE are powerful! Have “your people” pray together for a miracle.

About Our Name: The “Forerunners of the Age to Come Blog” is written for followers of Christ who are praying for His return as the final victory in the conflict between Truth and lies. As Forerunners of the Age to Come, we are called to prepare the way by praying, walking in the Spirit, and through prophetic declarations and manifestations of the Kingdom of God on Earth as a sign of His coming. Our prayer is that this ministry will empower, equip and inspire you to become the pure Bride for whom Christ is returning.
People, get ready!
